Course Description

Your 50K course is ready! Enjoy highlights of the 100k course, including gorgeous views at the top of both Whistler and Blackcomb mountains. Your race will start in Creekside beginning with a climb up Whistler Mountain. Runners will then descend towards the Village and take on the challenge of ascending Blackcomb before returning to the finish at Spruce Grove Park. A high‑energy tour of Whistler’s most iconic peaks.

Hot and Cold Weather Kits

Should the race management team add onto the mandatory gear due to weather conditions, please reference the cold and hot weather kits outlined below. You will be notified via email if either kit is required during race week. Runners are expected to pack both kits for race weekend in the event one of these kits needs to be implemented.

Hot weather kit (may be required by the organization, depending on weather conditions)

  • Sunglasses ***
  • Sunscreen, recommendation: minimum sun protection factor (SPF) 50 
  • Minimum water supply: 2 liters

Cold weather kit (may be required by the organization, depending on weather conditions)

  • Protective eyewear ***
  • 2nd warm layer in addition to jacket recommendation
  • Sturdy, closed-toe trail-running shoes (minimalist or ultralight shoes Not recommended)
  • Warm hat
  • Warm and water-proof gloves
  • Waterproof overpants

*** it is possible to use the same glasses if they are suitable both for the sun and bad weather (such as glasses with photo-chromatic lenses)
