Course Description

Starting in Creekside Village, the 25k starts their journey straight up Whistler Mountain. The 3,900' climb to the Roundhouse Hydration is challenge for trail runners, new and experienced alike. After leaving the Roundhouse Hydration Station, runners will make their final ascent up to Whistler Summit, the highest point of the course at 7,100'. Here, runners are greeted with a full Aid Station and some of the most breathtaking panoramic views.

After soaking in the views, runners will start their descent off Whistler Mountain to the next Aid Station, Middle of Nowhere. Leaving Middle of Nowhere after a resupply, runners will make their final descent to Creekside Plaza for a much deserved finish, celebration and rest!

Mandatory Gear

  • Minimum water supply: 1/2 liter of hydration capacity

Recommended Gear


  • Running pack (vest, belt or pack) for carrying supplies for the duration of the race
  • Mobile/Cell phone with international roaming that works in Canada
    • Race Management emergency phone number is on back of bib
  • Additional Nutrition recommendation: 800 kcal (2 gels + 2 energy bars)
  • Jacket with hood for bad weather in the mountains/course terrain
  • Survival blanket of 1.40m x 2m minimum / 55 inches x 80 inches
  • ID –passport/ID card
  • Hat
